Bowling for Books

The Rotary Club of Mechanicsburg is sponsoring two teams for this event. One is mostly club members and the other is mostly students from our Rotaract Club at Messiah College.

Bowling for Books is a fundraiser for the purchase of children’s materials for the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library.

Schedule:
Registration starts at 11:30 AM. Lunch for bowlers starts at 12 Noon.
Bowling begins at 12:30 PM. Prizes awarded at 1:30 PM.
Door prizes awarded throughout the event.

Includes: Two games of bowling, free shoe rental, and lunch.

Pledges: Bowlers are asked to raise money for the library by asking friends, family and co-workers for tax-deductible contributions payable to the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library. Pledges are an important part of this fundraiser. We encourage all bowlers to aim for $100 or more in pledges. Bowlers who raise more than $100 may select an item from the prize table.

Prizes: Plaques awarded for highest scores for the two game series for the high point male and female bowler. Plaques awarded to first and second place teams.
