Fellow Rotarians, Next week we are doing a "trial run" of a potential new breakfast spot, Messiah College. It will be hosted by Two Bridges Catering from Messiah, who did a fantastic job at our Taste of Mechanicsburg event. We need to give Messiah a count of attendess next week, so please respond if you can attend or not. It's important that you try and attend this meeting so we can get input from all members on the pros and cons of this potential switch. There are questions that we as the club will need to addres as well. So please try and attend. The breakfast will be held in the "Lottie Nelson Dining Hall". If you need more detailed directions, let me know. Patrick will help guide us there in more detail if needed. Thanks and have a great week. Mike |

“Community Outreach”
Aug 22, 2018
The Acera topic will relate to some of the community outreach they perform in addition to the valuable and challenging work they perform and service they provide. More specifically, they will talk about a dog they acquired to serve as a comfort dog that spends time with patients who are in Hospice and their families. The dog came at a very high cost which is being funded by employees and volunteers due to limited funds.

From town council and the state legislature to commentator and businessman, Jeff Coleman has spent much of his adult life debating the methods and manners of public debate and the need for genuine civility. Are there rules for political combat? Do the good guys ever win? Can you engage in politics without losing your soul? Has politics always been this ugly? |
