The evening began with an invocation and Pledge of Allegiance, some introductory remarks by Pres. Patrick, and a buffet dinner. Following dinner, Rotary District 7390 Governor Elect 2016-17, Kevin Cogan, was introduced by Club President-Elect Mark Dixon. DGE Kevin gave an interesting and inspiring talk that also featured the achievements of the scholarship winner. He had them join him on the stage and acknowledge their individual achievements by holding up their hand as he recognized the many achievements of the scholarship students as a group. He then challenged them to continue their good work and aspire to Rotary's moto of "Service Above Self."
