Ken told the club about the impact of the club's $5,000 grant (a Rotary Club Foundation Grant using $2,500 club funds matched by $2,500 from the Rotary Foundation) in support of the Youth Impact Project which provides start up back packs, school supplies, shoes, and much more to about 2,500 families in need in the South Central Pennsylvania area. Those funds helped purchase supplies which will be distributed at the next event to be held on July 29 and 30. See their web site (YouthImpactProject.com) for more info.

Matt thanked the club for donating $2,500 to help the school district purchase two 3D printers which are used in the classes that support their STEM initiative. He described some of the many projects which had been done by the students and how the 3D printers had benefited the projects.
