Work Continues on El Salvador Project Extension

Our partner club in El Salvador, San Salvador Noroeste, reports that the construction of the water tank is progressing very well and they have shared some pictures.
Our primary contact, Alfredo Aguirre, of the Rotary club of San Salvador Noroeste, reports that the construction of the water tank extension to our joint sanitation project is progressing very well, and he sent along some pictures...see below. As reported earlier, there was over $20,000 remaining after to completion of the construction of 196 composting toilets in the community of Metalillito. The Rotary Foundation gave permission to use the fund balance to meet another related community need and that was to add to the community's water system. The existing water tank had become too small for the growing community and constructing an additional and larger tank and connecting it to the water system will meet a great need.
