Good morning Fellow Rotarians!

Please join your friends and fellows at Larsen Meadworks tomorrow evening, March 28, from 6-8 PM for a bit of social time. Bring a friend or a spouse and support a business that has supported our club.  So much of our morning meeting is limited to our normal business and programs, so it would be great to gather together in a small and cozy setting, share in some samples of mead, and break some bread together (or pretzels).

Please RSVP if you are able to attend.  I'll send out a tentative number tomorrow afternoon so everyone can know how much snack food to bring.

New Hope Ministries Service Project, 7:00 - 9:00 a.m., 5228 E. Trindle Road, Mechanicsburg, (Breakfast to be included).

Please join other club members to help New Hope Ministries. We will have a light breakfast and then spend the rest of the time helping with some activity. It the past it has included repackaging products from bulk containers into a size suitable for distribution to clients. This service project also allows us to get to know each other better. Please wear your Rotarians at Work shirt or some other Rotary shirt. You may leave before 9 AM if necessary for work, etc. Please let us know if you are coming or not so we have a head count for food. Register or decline below.

Mechanicsburg, PA's premiere event that features the culinary talents of local food and beverage vendors. Come out for an afternoon of great food, thirst-quenching drinks, and lively company. Kick back, relax, and enjoy live entertainment by local artists.

Hosted by the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library and organized by the Rotary Club of Mechanicsburg. All proceeds benefit Mechanicsburg Rotary's Student Scholarship Program and the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library.

See service project opportunity from Dave Burns, sounds like a great idea for Rotarians. 

Fellow Rotarians, 

Please join us this coming Wednesday for a social happy hour at Greystone, which is at the Range End golf course. At this meeting, we will also be saying good bye to Dave Brandt and his wife and thanking him for his service to our club and Rotary over the last 20 years. Dave will be moving from our club at the end of June.

The club will be providing h'our dorvers for this event, members and their guests will be responsible for their own drinks at the bar. 

Thanks to those that have responded already. We'll be inviting some past members as well in hopes that they can join us too.

Dear Rotarians and Guest:

Wednesday evening, June 5th at 6:00PM the Mechanicsburg Rotary Club will award $12,000.00 dollars in student scholarships to 6 wonderful recipients. Over the past six months we all have had the opportunity to meet these individuals at our regular Wednesday morning meetings, but June 5th we will announce our scholarship winners.

Our regular morning meeting will be replaced by this evening meeting, held at Hostetter Chapel at Messiah College. 

Please plan to arrive by 6:00PM. Our evening will start at 6:15PM with a Welcome and Invocation, followed by a fabulous buffet dinner and dessert. 

Our keynote speaker this evening will be Una Martone, CEO of Leadership Harrisburg, and our 2017-2018 Past District 7390 Governor.

As is our custom, the club will cover the cost of the Rotarian. Our guest charge will be only $20.00, billed to you with your regular club dues.

PLEASE RSVP no later than May 31st.

Please bring your families and enjoy a picnic at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park in Mechanicsburg next Wednesday evening at 6PM. We have rented the same pavilion as where the Ox Roast was held every year. The club is providing the food, just please bring drinks and any games you'd like to play. Kids are enoucraged to attend! Let us know soon for food planning purposes.

Join fellow club members for our July social at Marzoni's in Rossmoyne @ 4925 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg.

We have a private room and will have appetizers to enjoy. Drinks are the responsibility of club members.

During our social get together we will have the opportunity to wish Vernon and his wife Faye well. Vernon, after 47 years is retiring from Rotary to enjoy more time with family and friends. 

Marzoni's is a great eatery and has good food and beer to enjoy. Hope to see you all there.
