See service project opportunity from Dave Burns, sounds like a great idea for Rotarians.

This is a volunteer opportunity to help out a fellow Vietnam veteran. This veteran, Stanley is a Purple Heart veteran, wounded on Hamburger Hill.  Bob was able to verify Stanley’s service through the VA.  I think that the best way to describe the problem is that Stanley’s living arrangement is very similar to an episode of Hoarders.  Stanley is in trouble with Silver Spring Township because of all the ‘clutter’ stored on his property.  Bob has arranged for a dumpster to be delivered to the property and the work day is get the clutter into the dumpster and make the Township people happy.  Bob expects a Township representative to be onsite that day.
Please let Bob Ardner know if you will be there, so that he can plan for food.  Email him at
